PC User says: Excel's expertise extends beyond media centres to very well-appointed business systems, as the SB-1000 attests. Built around Intel's 3GHz Core 2 Duo E8400 processor, it features two 500GB Samsung drives for a total of 1,000GB of storage. Coupled with Windows Vista Business and a 19" Asus widescreen LCD monitor, this is a pretty decent system for the price. Adding to the value is the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3's Gigabit wired networking and the D-Link DWL-G520M wireless card, giving you plenty of networking options. The case is your small-scale mini tower- it’s not flash, but then it doesn’t need to be. Excel has cleverly kept the graphics to a minimum, using a Radeon HD 2400 Pro, which ensures more is spent on features valuable for business. There’s very little difference in application performance between this and the Pacstar, but the second 500GB hard drive here won us over. Good performance and networking options.
